Leah Lowe
4-H Program Representative — Wasco County
Leah Lowe serves as the 4-H Program Coordinator for Wasco County and is an active leader within Oregon's 4-H community. As the incoming President of the Oregon State University Extension Association of 4-H Agents (OSUEA4-HA), she is committed to strengthening 4-H programs and expanding opportunities for youth, volunteers, and families throughout the state.
Leah enjoys living in Wasco County and values its diverse landscapes, vibrant communities, and strong agricultural foundation. She and her husband raise a small herd of cattle, giving them a personal connection to the agricultural community they serve. Living and working in a rural community has reinforced her appreciation for agriculture, community engagement, and the meaningful relationships developed through mentoring youth and supporting local volunteers. She is a strong advocate for 4-H's slogan, "Learn by Doing," and believes that hands-on experiences are more important than ever in today's increasingly technology-driven world, helping young people develop practical skills, confidence, and resilience.
